I was looking for a Christmas gift yesterday, and I have been in the shop a few times. They have a large choice but it seems very overstocked and a bit hard to get around the shop as there are too many things. Staff are nice. Prices were a bit on the high side but not overly dramatic

Their sale item prices are amazing sometimes, we bought a set of pasta bowls and I still can't believe the price!

Definite favourite item: Magnetic pegs; incredibly useful on the fridge to pin items up :)

I went in to buy a whole heap of items for my sister's house as a gift for her. The staff were very helpful and knew about all the different items and what to recommend. Good customer service.

Upon visited the general trader looking for a particular knife as a gift I found the staff to be very attentive and for a guy who hates shopping this is good. They didn't have the knife I wanted but they gave me a pic so I could show other shop keepers and also told me of other places that might stock it
