Open and varied seating areas - healthy and extensive menu. 2 sets of toilets. Modern & clean. We had salt and pepper squid. Extenisve and varied gluten free options, vegetarian and dairy free. Wonderful old pub near children's attractions.

Lunch at George Harcourt Inn is a "must" on a trip to Federation Square. They serve pub food at its best - unpretentious and well-prepared. Sitting in the courtyard on a warm afternoon is a very pleasant way to while away the time.

I've turned up to the George a couple of times without a booking, and the same again with, and they've always been pleasant but absolutely chockers and busy. They've always made the effort to re-arrange to fit you in if required, and the food itself is good quality pub meals.

My wife and I and some friends had dinner here a few weeks ago. Amazing! Great food, great atmosphere and excellent beers! One of my favorite places in Canberra.

The George has a great atmosphere. It is like an old English pub. They serve lunch and dinner at good prices. You can sit inside or outside. They have great specials and the Staff are courteous and relaxed
