Such a very very poor customer service, we visit today but nobody say good morning, even they didn't not ask do u guys need any help, the three ladies all are free, but nobody come to us.... teach them how to treat when someone visit the store

Annoying sales staff much confused at work in Goodguys Melton shop. After purchasing a smart watch and while holding receipt and product on hand, sales staff came over straight to the customer and took the product to start enquiring about it with the billing counter staff about how the product ended up in Customer's hands. Cheap and lousy staff needs more behavioral training.

I had bought a washing machine from this store which turned out to be faulty. I was then referred to woolies for repairs and later had to contact lg as I was not getting the assistance that I needed - that is woolies was unable to fix although coming out 4 times to change parts; between woolies that were assigned to fix it and lg who never returned calls and left me on hold for half an hour at the time frequently with the line being cut out of nowhere following the wait, I ended up being left without a washing machine that worked for 2 months. As I was getting nowhere with the repairs and lg, I contacted the good guys again as I had purchased from them. They did a great job - also being unable to get a proper/reasonable response from lg, they offered me a new washing machine and offered delivery the same day or even a different brand if I preferred that. I was so happy having a big burden taken off my shoulders!

Purchased a GPS which was faulty...returned it...staff member let me make the choice of the right GPS for me instead of helping me with the different features/functions on each GPS and from that i could have confidently made a decision on which one to buy...with a previous GPS, the unit lead us on a wild goose chase and the staff member said the GPS's will do that in the city...but that was on the open road...i felt that the staff member wasn't knowledgeable enough to help me and as this was his department, it was up to management to make sure their staff are informed and up to date with their products...

I went to this store looking for a carpet shampooing machine. I easily located their only two models on sale, however the salesman and saleswoman I prefer to deal with were both busy and I was approached by another man. He seemed ok on approach, but very quickly became pushy and to be honest I was rather annoyed that he refused to offer less for the $499 machine. He went on to tell me that I would be better of buying the $499 model over the $399 one...the difference being that the more expensive one had an inbuilt heater. When I again asked him for a better price he said he was already looking after me and that they had already discounted the machine by one hundred dollars. HI told him that's b.s. and he went on to say that The good guys are ALWAYS the cheapest on price and if I found it cheaper elsewhere to bring in the proof and they would then match it.
I walked out the store and went to another and returned shortly after and approached my preferred saleswoman who I asked for the best price on the machine and she returned a price of $460, which was already better than what the Indian man had told me. She soon left me with the Indian salesman again after he informed her that I was HIS customer!!! NOT HAPPY. When I had told her shortly after that I wanted to deal with she said she couldn't as it was the Indian mans sale, and I had no choice but to say, well he's just lost the sale. I took my child and left the store.
Had the Lady have taken me as her customer I would have gone on to spend an extra $400 on top of the initial carpet shampooer machine. I left VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE AT THIS STORE!! And went to water Gardens to spend my $900. I shall NEVER return to this store and I have told all my friends and family about my experience her.

Unfortunately, we have purchased two items from this store(Acer tablet & GVA TV) in last 5 months and both have been faulty. Both times, we have taken item to store and staff have agreed there is a product fault but have referred us to external repair centres to deal with faulty items. The lack of responsibility for their goods from The Good Guys is concerning because it has meant that we have had to chase and fight to try to get faulty products repaired. We sent the faulty Acer tablet to Acer National Repair Centre. They damaged the unit and tried to charge us $229 to repair 'out of warranty damage'. So this item has been returned unrepaired and tablet is now about to go in the bin. We are out of pocket $299 thanks to The Good Guys Melton and Acer National Repair Centre. I am hoping the TV will be fixed soon but still going through that process. As this store does not take responsibility for the faulty goods they sell and the customer has to run around and deal with the repairers and ultimately gets ripped off by repairers, I will never purchase from The Good Guys again. I urge potential customers to check warranty and repair processes and if you have to return anything, take photos and document the condition so you are not ripped off and have to waste time and energy dealing with these repairers. The point is, though, that as a customer, you should not have to be stuck with the responsibility of chasing up fault repairs – the store should stand by their products and have a better faults and warranty process.

I urge u to learn ur rights and responsibilities. The seller is responsible and by law must accept goods back at place of purchase to be forwarded on to repair centres. Its on the consumer affairs website. Good guys overall are a top rated business. As for the tablet damage......how can u validate ur claim that the repair centre damaged it?
