My husband and I went to Healesville for the day and stopped in at the Grand Hotel for lunch as we had heard good things about it. We thoroughly enjoyed it. From the smiling staff member who opened the door for me so I could easily push my pram through to the friendly waitress who took the time to talk to our little guy - the service is warm, friendly and efficient. My husband had the chicken parma - a nice big piece, well cooked, could have done with a bit more seasoning, but perfectly good pub food. I had the chicken Carfu - and it was yummy, with lots of prawns and scallops and a delicious sauce. We both had the salads - the beetroot gave them a great taste and the fries - perfect cooked. The ambiance was lovely for an old hotel. Everything was well priced - good value. I would recommend for groups, couples or families - a warm and friendly place.

It was a lovely experience from having a pot of beer in the public bar to then reteating out the back into the courtyard with friend and having meal.
I thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips and considered it to be beachfront quality :-)

This place is stands by its name, grand in everything. we loved the service and the food. The atmosphere is what we expected from looking from the outside. good old fashioned customer service. The steak meal was great and my wife and i enjoyed going there, topped off a great day. thanks

The price seemed very steep at first, but the food and service proved why. As always, I got my Pub Parma, and was more than satisified. even finished my wifes parma. She's a bit of a lightweight, and these things were huge! Will be back when driving through again.

I live in the area but had never been to The Grand for dinner before & was pleasantly surprised how great the meal was. It had a generous serving and was absolutely delicious - the only complaint would be I was so full I couldnt fit dessert.

This pub has one of the friendliest atmosphere's we have ever been in. The staff are very friendly, often stopping to have a chat with you when serving food and drinks. The meals are always great quality and the prices are amazing....!! It is always clean and warm and the charm of the place is great to be around.
***Business owners have since changed and after a recent experience there we will NEVER go back!!****
