My partner called around 6pm on a Saturday evening in December to make an impromptu booking to celebrate a personal milestone.
At 8pm, we arrived and were seated. Menus and water were provided promptly by friendly wait staff.
We ordered the Zorba's Banquet for two. The food was very quick to come out, was fresh and delicious (though the saganaki was slightly overdone, and the taramasalata was slightly too salty (and we like salty foods!)). The lamb plate was simply divine.
Despite having hardly eaten all day, our eyes were bigger than our bellies and we could not eat another morsel of food.
We will be back, most definitely, but perhaps will order a smaller banquet so we can try the baklava!

Went here for lunch and ordered off the "express" menu. There was nothing express about it. After waiting a ridiculously long time we were served our meals and our souvlaki was served with stale meat that they clearly re-used from a previous day. The meat was so bad it left a bad taste in my mouth long after we had left. We sent the food back to the chef as it was inedible and left hungry. Neither the chef nor any staff even apologised or gave any explanation as to why we were served such a meal. Most definitely would not return or recommend to others

Lovely little place, love the ambiance here, always cozy and quiet. I found the menu slightly overpriced as our food was a little bland. My partner really didn't enjoy his moussaka. Baklava was nice though.

If you want to try something new and different food this is that restaurant. Nice and warm restaurant, great Greek food and music. Lots of car park spaces, beautiful place to go in summer time.

I enjoyed going to this restaurant. I had the banquet meal which wasn't cheap. Great atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. I did find it expensive so I won't be going back so soon. Service is really good. You get plenty of food so you won't be left hungry. Once off experience.

I have been to several greek restaurants before and enjoy greek cuisine. I won a $150 gift voucher to this restaurant & made a booking for a Friday night.

My friend and I decided on the Zorba's Banquet for $59.00 per person which consisted of
Meze Platter, dips, pita, olives, capsicum, dolmades, spanakopita, Saganaki, Greek Salad, Calamari, Prawns, a choice of
Mussels or Scallops, (we chose scallops) Meat, Coffee but no dessert
We didn't order any alcohol we just ordered a greek sour cherry juice each which we both enjoyed.

The Food was ok but to be honest with you not as good as other greek places I have been to,
The creamy garlic prawns, calamari, warm pita were enjoyable. The lamb off the spit which I was looking forward to was not very tasty or flavourful so that was a bit of a disappointment.
The service here was pretty good as well as the atmosphere.
I thought the portion sizes were good and we had enough food and were full at the end.
We had a choice of coffees to go with the meal and we chose greek coffee which was ok but very strong, muddy at the end.

I also ordered turkish delight & baklava, latte (which came with a biscuit) and were all delicious and well presented.

this is a nice place to go to on a date etc. the food is very nice, however, you don't necessarily get value for money. the food is good, but if you go down the road you'll find better. i recommend getting the banquet - always worth it at a greek restaurant.

Approximate cost: $30

We went to the Greek Deli for a 50th birthday party. While the food was quite good, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth, figuratively speaking.
We were charged (a set menu) for 25 people when only 24 people attended as the staff argued between themselves as to how many places they'd initially set up for.
Worse than this, one guest decided to pay for his drinks separately on credit card after paying cash for his meal only. Meanwhile everyone put in cash to cover the total bill, including all the drinks. So in effect we paid twice for the drinks he had and the staff didn't even tell us that the one of our party had paid by credit card already!?! How dishonest is that?
Definitely an experience we WILL NOT be REPEATING!

Approximate cost: $39.50 banquet

The Greek Deli is a really nice authentic Greek restaurant on Chapel Street. The food is not cheap but the meals are pretty big and you always leave here feeling very full! It has a nice atmosphere and the staff are vey friendly. I have been for lunch and dinner and both have been pleasant experiences.
