i was reccommended this company by a family member. they raved how great they are. when i rang to enquire about opening hours and prices. they were so rude and i felt like i was wasting thier time. Because i was reccomended to them i took my dog to them for a bath and cut. I wanted my poodle cut like a poodle but not to short. When i got my dog back they had shaved my dog to the skin i was horrified and being winter my poor dog was soo cold... never again i wouldnt reccomend this dog groomer to anyone ever

The staff who answered phone was SO rude :( The staff spoke to me like I was ruining her day by enquiring what day they were open. I didn't even bother to make an appointment. If she is rude to the paying customers... what is she going to be like to my dog out the back?!

I take both of my dogs to The Grooming Box and they always come back looking fantastic, they are clean, clipped well and are always happy. The ladies at the grooming Box are so knowledgeable and always offer me great advice to help me with my dogs. I'm so happy with their service!

I read the last comment that was posted and i was horrified ! I have been taking my 2 little dogs there since February when the new owners took the business over. i have a male maltese cross shih tzu and a female chihuahua cross maltese. My dogs attend there every month and they get done whatever needs doing. They always come back smelling clean, ears done and nails and happy. I have NEVER had a problem with my dogs ever ! being cut. or scared, they enjoy going to the Grooming Box. I also have a best friend of mine who takes her little dog there and she has never had a problem with anything. So i do not know why somebody would write such a horrible thing... Regards Sue.

I took my Cavalier Kings Charles Spaniel in and asked for a clip but not a summer clip. Not too short I said. I said they can take a little off his ears undernearth to neaten them and that most of the feathering can be clipped still leaving a little as it's winter and I didn't want him to be cold. So you can imagine my horror when I picked him up (which took 2 hours for them to clip him!) and he was shaved to the skin! He had also been cut underneath and the blood was not even cleaned. His ears were entirely shaved to the skin. They said included in the price was a nail cut and ear clean both were not done. When I picked my cavy up he was shaking from the cold and appeared very distressed. The blending on his face was awful and looks as though his fur has been hacked up. The most upsetting part was that his whiskers have been completely clipped off also which in my opinion is very cruel. Extremely unimpressed and would strongly urge everyone to reconsider before taking their beloved pet to the Grooming Box!!
