Our child was not progressing after 6 years Enrolled at KDS so we made a difficult decision to find a more suitable school but when applying to another institution there is no confirmation till early November of a place. We advised KDS early November we would take our child out, then their finance manager demanded we pay Term 1 of the following year due to late notice and we were threatened by debt collection . Very vindictive after we spent so much with them

Until we transferred our kid to this school we had no idea how much of a difference it will be in comparison to public schools.
The school forms a very close family like bonds with all students and their parents. Yes it's not cheap but surely worth it if you want the best for your kid.

A liberal-ish Jewish private school providing education from pre-schooling through to VCE. I completed years 5-12 here in 2003. At that time the school was relatively small, humble and offered a warm and spirited environment. Many of the students comprised Eastern European immigrants, and teachers were still adressed on a first-name basis. Whislt the school, at the time, lacked sufficient experience to carry students through VCE, the teachers nonetheleess were excellent, many having postgraduate qualifications and years of industry experience prior to teaching. The motto 'Know and Understand' was well deserved. Overall I remember having fun, and beign encouraged to be intellectually curious at this school. I beleive much has changed, but how much so, I don't know.
