Was really surprised to see such a gem of a place hidden away in the suburbs. Went there for brunch once and it was really nice. We also got to sit facing the field so we got an amazing view.

This is truly my local, I either have coffee, breakfast or dinner their once a week. Given their isn't much competition in the area you wouldn't expect the bar to be set so high but they have such friendly staff, great coffee and delicious meals.

Had coffee here this morning with my Hawks-mad brother. Too cold to sit outside so we sat next to the window and watched the team train while sipping our coffees. Then when training finished we got to see a parade of players & coaches walk past the window.
Enjoyable morning, even if you're not a fan (like me). Great coffee, friendly and efficient staff and a nice clean establishment. I imagine it's going to get crowded over the coming weeks as the final gets closer.

I had heard about a cafe in the last piece of the old Waverley Park footy ground and thought it would be an interesting place to see.
Sure enough, there is one piece left standing, of what were the stands around a VFL footy oval. The oval is still there as a public space, surrounded by houses.
The cafe opens at both ends so you can sit outside and look over the oval if you like - very peaceful, watching young families frolic on the green grass below.
They cater for those with dietary intolerances, do breakfast most of the day, and have interesting food choices.
I had a quinoa salad, which was really yummy, and I could see that a lot of other people had the same thing.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
It could get noisy in there, with lots of windows and wooden floors, but when I was there the noise level was tolerable.
I would go back again when I am in the area.
