Last night was the first time I decided to try a jazz/blues club in Melbourne! No entry fee which is a big bonus. Lots of seating available to sit and have a drink and chat. Atmosphere is very relaxed and not over the top. The live band was amazing on Saturday 15/11/14 I just sat back with my drink and listened to the beats and all the different instruments. Music in between the band was really good and easy to dance too. I can't want to go back!!!

Live bands on Friday and Saturdays give this place a great soul. The music tends to be Jazz/Latin/World and as a result the dance floor is always pumping with all types of dancing, from couples dancing Samba to students "rocking out". The mix of different people makes for an interesting place, but can also lead to younger females experiencing unwanted groping if care isn't taken on the dance floor.
The drinks are quite expensive, and being forced to pay $3 for water is quite frustrating. But it is a great place to visit for something different, and if it all becomes too much, Brunswick St is right around the corner.
