Attended today for a long lunch. Midday to 5pm lol. Delicious fresh food, beautiful setting, plenty of seating and tables. Good variety of both savoury and sweets.
Rated 4/5 because there was a strong sewer smell that wafted in the air at times.

Our visit here was so memorable because it was peaceful and relaxing. Ther service was excellent to say the least. When my youngest ordered a salad just on it's own (which wasn't on the menu) they specially made up the most gorgeous salad to the tune of any eight year old's delight. Very inspiring for making my own salads at home too! Creative service I've never received anywhere else before. This is undoubtedly the best place to eat along that road heading into Bellingen. It's just before the beautiful green golf course and right next to it. If you see the golf course on your right then you know you've gone just a teensy bit too far. Go back and visit this place as a stopover.

The food is so fresh and beautifully tasty. You wouldn't get anything this quality down in Sydney. Value plus here! You can sit inside or outside. Our family of five preferred to sit outside as the weather was gorgeous and we love the outdoors. There are umbrellas over the tables outside. We saw the most exquisite bird watching us as we ate our lunch. I've never seen one of those before! The atmosphere here is friendly, peaceful and purely lovely. After lunch we wandered down to the river at the end of the casual parking area and soaked in the view. We then took some great country photosnaps and headed further into town to discover a bit more of Bellingen. This cafe is great for a break just before you hit the Bellingen town or before you go a bit further up the mountain to Dorrigo.
