Has to be the best snack bar in Ipswich. Thay make a fantastic value for money breakfast. Fish serving with home made chips are not frugal. They will fry the food to your request which I prefer crispy. The shop reminds me of what take away milk bars used to be like during the 50s and 60s. The only thing missing is a pin ball machine. I love their home made chips! They are great value for money. My only criticism is they can be a little oily. They need to drain them better. Having said that they are my favourite in Brisbane!

The most disguisting soggiest chips I have ever had in my life. I asked for chicken salt and got no salt. The chick on the till tried to rip me off and looked very unimpressed when I told her she had got it wrong. Will never be back first and last time.

They have excellent chips. They are chunky cut and crispy and I particularly like that the potatoes are sourced near Ipswich. They can be busy on weekends, so it is worthwhile to call and order ahead. They are very accommodating and friendly. We always get the Fishermen's basket for 2 as it is pretty good value.

Approximate cost: $25

I sometimes travel up the highway just to buy from this shop. The fish & chips are good old fashioned yum ! The service is a 'I'm a bit too tired today & I have your business anyway...' The coffee is the worst this side of the bridge. However the Fish & Chips make up for that by far.... 4 Stars

THE best fish & chips i have ever had!

they're home made chips are chunky & crispy on the outside & mushy potato inside - PERFECT!

generous serving sizes at very reasonable prices

the burgers are HUGE, stuffed with generous juicy fillings - just the way a 'sloppy-joe' should be!

service is very friendly & professional.

Really not impressed here sorry. We bought some burgers for dinner on the run and they got the order wrong. Sloppy and oily. Advertises home-made chips. I doubt it.
