Came to The Prophet with a group of friends after it was highly recommended by a friend. The food was average - some of our koftas were a little dry and the cauliflower dish, although delicious, was very salty. The hummus was excellent though, highly recommend that dish. The complimentary bread and dip appetizer was a nice way to start our meal. The dishes are on the pricey end and this is a restaurant I am unlikely to frequent or visit again in the near future. It could just be that particular chef that day, but overall a slightly disappointing experience. That said, it was quite busy and seemed to be a popular restaurant for lovers of Mediterranean cuisine.

The food quality, service and menu selection are excellent. The hot fish and garlic chicken are to die for.Humous and Tabbouleh are the best I have ever had.Every dish comes with incredible quanity.Food is delicious and fresh every time. It's about 30-35 per head but so satisfying once in a while.Place is always packed but staff are accommodating.Complimentary bread and dips ease the waiting time.Everything is so tasty I am never left with room for desert.Must try if you love Mediterranean/Lebanese cuisine.

Went out with group of 10 friends to the Prophet for the banquet ($35 per person), the food was excellent and the staff were always on the ball even with a packed restaurant. Will be going back again and again.

I went with my bf to celebrate his 26th. He is hard to impress with food and it got his tick of approval. He really liked the kofta, although the waitress forgot to bring out our dip! We didn't get to see the bellydancer, maybe another time.

Thoroughly worthwhile a visit. open for lunch and dinner and meals are great. very inexpensive too. All orders seem to be served with lebanese bread and dips at no extra charge and they are great. BYO restaurant.

Approximate cost: $10-15
