Committing to a Saturday morning music class with the lovely Matilda at The Rhythm Tree whas been one of my best decisions this year. Each week, my daughter and I get an hour of laughing and cuddling and making music together (without her big brother stealing her thunder), and then afterwards we get hot chocolates and watch the live band from the CERES cafe sandpit. So many lovely memories being created and a perfect start to the weekend.

perfect experience for parents/carers and their kids. Inclusive and lovely way to spend a morning/afternoon.

My two young children, (aged 3 and 1) and I have been attending The Rhythm Tree groups for 6 months now. It has been an absolute joy to watch them grow and learn through music. It has changed our family life and made us happier, more connected and playful together.
My youngest even took his first steps at music class and is a little groover. My eldest delights in telling all our friends and family about our musical adventures.
It's relaxed and friendly and been a fantastic way to make new friends.
I would highly recommend The Rhythm Tree to all families with young kids :)

My 3 year old absolutely loved these classes with Matilda. They are filled with happiness and good energy. The program has given him a great grounding in music fundamentals - he's singing the songs all the time at home now, and changing up the lyrics, improvising around the modes, etc. Brilliant!

The Rhythm Tree is a wonderful and accepting environment for young children to learn to love singing and expressing themselves. The format is relaxed and fun, and the teachers are understanding of the different developmentsl stages of children. My son and I love our teacher Matilda. The music is fantastic for kids of all ages. Do yourself a favour and trial a class.

I highly recommend Rhythm Tree classes to anyone who will listen. My daughter flourished when she began attending classes (at around 12 months old) and has continued to be very musically inclined and has gained lots of confidence.

The classes are well rounded with singing, movement and instruments. My daughter is beside herself from start to finish and it's really good fun for us parents/carers too.

The instructors are obviously really passionate and knowledgeable about what they do. Gillian has a really lovely warm presence and makes you feel immediately welcome and involved (she's a gorgeous singer too!)

We've just skipped a term and have missed it so much. Can't wait to jump back in next term

I would highly recommend the music classes... we have been attending on and off for 4 terms and it takes us an hour to drive! The staff, environment and structur of classes are amazing!

Both my children have loved coming to the Rhythm tree, and so do I. Is a lovely welcoming space for Children to explore music.

What can I say?! What a terrific series of music classes the Rhythm Tree provides. Absolutely love the community/family philosophy behind these classes, and the children (and adults!) respond so well to the sessions. It’s a really wonderful feeling to be a part of. Gillian and her amazing team keep everything familiar as well as changing bits here and there to keep things fresh and engaging. How they manage to remember every child and adult’s name is a true credit - and really makes you feel you belong. My 3 year old son looked forward to every session we had - skipping, running and jumping to get to class - which is the greatest review of all. Thank you, Rhythm Tree!
