Met old friends for lunch here yesterday. Nice main menu but we opted for the senior's menu (as usual) $10.90 for main course and $15.90 for main, dessert and coffee. My meal was very nice and there is a salad and hot veg bar as well. The dining area is large and it is nice that we can sit and talk and talk after our meal. No pressure to move to another area that can happen at some venues. Think we will met for our pre Christmas dinner here too. A special senior's menu is being prepared for us. That is service

Went for group birthday, 3 mushroom risottos ordered and I just could not put enough salt and pepper on it to make it taste better. Partner had the s & p squid which was gluten free, he did not enjoy it. But, the Indian dishes like the Butter Chicken looked wonderful.

Very impressed with the Royal; pretty sure I haven't been there before. Quite a few families were there which was nice to see. Staff very friendly and attentive. Chef was happy to alter the vegetarian pasta to make it vegan which I really appreciated. Very affordable.

Had never been to this venue before - the food was hot and well presented. Salad bar very good. Staff courteous and attentive.

Had a really great seafood platter here - royal catch - served with whiting, garfish, garlic prawns, salt & pepper squid and a couple of oysters kilpatrick. Was really tasty and a nice serving size. Had the trio of desserts too and that was also yummy. Service was very good, very attentive staff.
