Usually good service here.
Their goods are fresh and of a reasonable quality.
I was disappointed today, though, when I ordered a pasty with sauce and a piece of hedgehog slice. The pasty had only the smallest squirt of sauce and, upon getting home and opening the bag containing the slice, found out it was a nut slice, as the wrong one had been put in the bag. I was not impressed.

Approximate cost: $8

Purchased a lamington and a vanilla slice from this outlet yesterday: Price was $3.50 each. The lamington was filled with more mock (muck?) than cream to provide a taste akin to fluffed vegetable fat or soap. The jam used was industrial. My vanilla slice proved little better. The filling was a yellow coloured gelatinous clag, the base old, cold and dry. More muck. Will be avoiding in future.

Approximate cost: $7

I must admit, I really don't like much at this bakery. However they do make the best curry chicken pies I have ever tasted. They are soo amazing that when ever I go in, I buy two and keep one for later ... if it last's that long it is. My other half loves their meat pies.

Great local bakery for fresh bread (fresh tiger loaf – yum!) & other bakery items such as pies (pepper steak – yum again!), pasties , buns and pastries – many different sorts to choose from & all made on the premises. Standard prices but very reasonable for the good quality. Can get busy at times (due to their popularity) but service is quick and friendly. Some tables out the front but also close to the lawn & beach areas for a nice lunchtime spot to eat in good weather.

The service is great and taste of the bread is beautiful, better than the commercial brands of bread that you purchase. The shop is very clean and a good variety of bakery goods are available. The smell of baking goods tempts one to go into the shop just when you are walking past.

Approximate cost: $3.10 per loaf

What I love the most about this bakery is that smell of freshly baked bread. You can also buy your loaf of bread unsliced or choose one and ask for thin or thick sliced and they'll do it there and then. They also have a range of pies, pasties and pastries all made on the premises and you can buy special occasion cakes made to order, or they'll supply the sponge for you to decorate yourself.
