I agree with the previous review about the crispy skin NZ salmon belly. I also really enjoyed the smoke salmon cod and leek pie. The starter platter was good but quite expensive for the amount of food on the plate. They usually have a special menu for non-smoke food.

Although it was packed on the night we went, we were offered seating at their "bar" facing outside. While it was a bit of a squeeze, the waiter was exceptionally friendly and apologised profusely. The wasabi salmon with soba noodles is actually cold (the waitress didn't mention this) and alright, but the smoked crispy skin NZ salmon belly was amazing. The vino of the day was actually really good (we had a chardonnay from Italy I think) and only $6!

Ambiance, service and food were excellent. Went there for our wedding anniversary - give the tasting platter for two a try - it has a little bit of everything.
