This is a beautiful place and has the most spectacular view. That's actually the best thing I found about this place. It's been here in Williamstown for a long while and we have visited the fish and chip shop window around the side a few times. Friends actually tricked us into a night out with just my husband and I. They said they would meet us and then ... never turned up. LOL

Well, I hope they don't read this as the experience was adequate but not the memorable occasion they were hoping. We had a lovely table with a view downstairs (there is also an upstairs which can cater for functions) of the Ferguson Street Pier and cannons, looking further out to the Melbourne Skyline. It turned out to be rather an expensive one as the food and service didn't match this.

The marketed image of this restaurant is of a 5 star, but I think only the prices are. For around $40 a main meal, I really wanted to enjoy it but the servings were small - the steak quite undercooked in the middle and the seafood pasta was very ordinary - rather bland. Staff seemed unconcerned whether we liked our meals or not and service was on the slow side.

I won't be returning in a hurry and when my friends ask me about the night, I'll tell them it was a wonderful view. On second thought ... maybe they knew more than we did?

We dined at this restaurant one time for a special romantic evening with my husband and I can still remember how delicious my meal was.

Definitely the seafood platter looks appetizing as i saw other patrons devour it

Be prepared that prices are expensive, but its worth it for a dine dining experience.

A great restaurant along the Williamstown shores. Some of the food on the menu are wonderful, but a few others are averaged. You just have to order the right ones. The desserts are my highlights. However, it is quite expensive. The Atmosphere is okay. Once in 6 month romantic dinner is the best bet.
