Came here for a pie for lunch recently and the lamb shank pie took my fancy. It was great. Also purchased some rolls and bread for the pantry and they also were good. Apparently a chef runs this bakery and it is apparent. Must come again.

I only went here for lunch yesterday for the first time, but I am already planning on becoming a regular customer. This is an award winning bakery with plenty to choose from. They have awesome award winning Artisan breads and sour doughs, but I have only tried their pies and pastry rolls. I had a chick pea roll and a potato pie and I am already thinking about going back for lunch today. The potato pie was one of the best, (if not the best), I have ever had, and the chick pea roll was unlike anything I had ever had from a bakery. The potato pie was huge and very filling. (Filled with light, creamy and fluffy potato mash.) The prices are quite competitive compared to most local bakeries in the area too. You might pay a little bit more, but not enough to hurt the hip pocket. I must say that the service was also fantastic, there were two girls at the counter and while one was getting my food out the pie warmer the other one had already rung up the amount on the cash register. (Performed like clockwork!) Very quick and efficient service, and done with a warm friendly smile!

Approximate cost: $4.00 (most pies or pasties)
