Have eaten here twice with family. I had a wonderful risotto the first time however the portion was quite small for the price.
The second time wasn't a great experience - the salad with my fish and chips was bland. The chips were very good though. My partner however found a hair in his meal and when he told the staff they apologised but didn't offer him another meal or a refund.
Overall the food is overpriced and the service isn't that good which is unfortunate as the loaction and building is pretty good.

We dined here on a Sunday as they advertise it as their "Seafood Day" and this is their "specialty. We ordered three seafood dishes which were all very ordinary with no flavour. A tapas platter for two at $26 had some tasty relishes and a couple of chicken strips and prawn tails, but was very light on for the price. They have a limited wine list all around the $27 + mark some of which were not available. The decor is dated and whilst the hotel looks quite quaint from the outside the dining area at the back lacks any ambience at all with old dark carpet and shabby tables and chairs. The staff were pleasant but we thought not very friendly. Overall we found it very expensive for the standard offered and sadly because it is our local pub, will not return.

Approximate cost: $27.00
