This restaurant has been a favourite with our family for years. It's had a makeover and looks much better now. The Crunchy Peanut Chicken is superb. The staff are so friendly, although I have to say that on our last visit the young lass who served us wasn't quite on the ball. It was very busy, with a good buzz, and no-one looked unhappy, as one reviewer has commented.

My family loves this restaurant so much. We go practically every week. The food is sooooo good. Especially the meat dishes, they always have the best cuts with no fatty bits! The sauces are divine and the service is always cheerful and friendly. The actual restaurant is a little old and outdated but food and the service more than make up for it. Highly recommended!

Being a local I love to support our local businesses but I have to disagree with this review.
The last two times my family has been here have been deplorable and we will never go back or recommend this restaurant.
Last time we had a booking for a family celebration and the food was sub standard (my daughter couldn't even eat her vegetarian dish) we had to wait for over an hour and the staff were surly and rude -( possibly due to the fact that most people in the restaurant were unhappy) so unfortunately the 16 people in our party will be saying "Don't go there"

Fantastic food, there honey chicken in particular is fantastic, agree with the other review the resturant itself is fairly dated and could do with some spruicing buut dont be put off by looks the food is well and truely worth it!

Brilliant food, friendly staff and low prices. Not the fanciest restaurant and certainly not the nicest looking place but the food is unbelievable. The staff treat you like they've known you forever and you always feel at home. My family and I have been going for years.
