This shop doesnt cater for the amount of customers as the seating is almost always limited. Theey have a deceent selection of menu items and they are a little pricey, but the actual food is very nice. The staff do the best job they can with such a high traffic store. Not bad for a take away, but dine in is difficult.

Toast used to be one of my go-to places for breakfast. The cafe is well decorated and is interestingly cute. Great setting for breakfast and brunch by the river, perfect to enjoy some sun and good weather. Food is tasty and yummy though a bit overpriced. It is a popular food joint so seating can be problematic at times. Still a place I would go to enjoy breakfast once in a while :)

I love the kitsch atmosphere you get at Toast. Food is great. The only problem is everyone knows this and so it gets packed quite quickly. I enjoyed the poached eggs with smoked salmon and some white tea for brunch. Yum!

very delicious food, only problem was they have minimal seating so, we had to wait for about 45 minutes on a sunday morning to be seated, then they put 5 of us on a table which was to fit 2 people, the food then came out about 30 minutes later, delicious food, excellent menu, good customer serive... i guess.

Approximate cost: $12-18

We went after reading lots of rave reviews on another site. The food was delicious, although I consider it standard cafe breakfast fare. Some of what we ordered was really expensive (the banana bread I recall was overpriced). The let down for me for this cafe is that it is not baby/toddler friendly. They have nothing against toddlers being there (there was even a box of toys) but highchairs aren't available and it's a pretty small premises (indoor area) and they really pack the tables in (so having the baby/toddler in their stroller wouldn't work either). I wish I had known this before I went. We persevered because we were meeting friends but really struggled with our wriggly toddler on our laps.
