The dining area is very spacious with lots of seating. the food is extremely affordable and very nice. It's served very fast too. The outdoor seating is very nice and there are alot of different rooms including the various pokie rooms. A great place for dinner/ after work drinks.

I still think about eating at this Hotel, having moved far away over a year ago. The food is just delicious & the prices are very affordable for those on a budget. Interior leaves a lot to be desired though. The food is so good, makes it well worth the experience!

The food and service from the Bistro is great and affordable. The prices have gone up recently but Bistro mngt had a sign up explaining why which is totally understandable. The atmosphere - drab and dark and totally outdated. Ate my meal and quite enjoyed it but didn't hang around as it was too dark and dingy.

The pub needs a revamp, very dark eating area, Table and chairs old, its very very plain and dull decor, nothing to make you want to stay and enjoy your night, smell of smoke in old carpet, needs a big update to make it more friendly, back bar is very noisy, not a lady's place to enjoy, just in and out for the meals.

i work for the kitchen staff here a couple of times when they had big functions. Its a nice place, maybe a bit small for the amount of people they seemed to have in there. Very large pokies room tho. I think they have new cooks now so im not sure what they are like but the ones who used to be there were very nice and always friendly

Quite ordinary to be honest with you, the only good thing about the tollgate is its location, right on the edge of church st, windsor road, old windsor road, james ruse drive and north rocks road ... if they halved the pokies room there would definately be more availble space to hold the numbers that would want to frequent the pub if the facilities were available ... They have great sized portions with efficient service, on the right day you can definately get great value for money ...
