It was a cold windy night but I was quite pleasantly warm in this restaurant. However, one member of our party was lightly dressed and said they were feeling a little cool. If you were to sit outside then you would be uncomfortable in this weather! The group was there to celebrate and have no connections to anyone at the restaurant. The birthday girl loves this restaurant for the fried milk which is an entree but was ordered as a dessert with no problems. Members of the group ordered Lemon Chicken, Satay Chicken, BBQ pork Chow Mein and Combination Seafood with garlic sauce. All meals were delicious but the meal with the garlic sauce didn't have a distinct taste of garlic. The garlic must have been very mild or only a small quantity present. The banana fritters were spot on for dessert. Presentation of meals was excellent. The service was good without a waitress bothering you to order the next course all the time. When we approached them, there was a quick efficient response. One waitress however, did seem to have a little difficulty understanding English but by pointing to the item on the menu it was resolved. The Japanese coffee was excellent as was the Jasmine tea; the tea being topped up with water upon request. I would recommend this restaurant to diners wanting Chinese food; our experience was delicious and the surroundings very pleasant. The overall is probably closer to 4.5 and we would certainly dine here again.

Approximate cost: $19
