Cool atmospheric vibe at all hours. A casual and trendy place,
The menu is filled with crowdpleasers and it is a good place to go for relaxed events involving a large group.

I'll be back. The place had some very nice food and the sangria packed a punch. Stools aren't very comfortable but a few sangrias should let you forget about that.
We had the $25 lunch deal they currently have going which includes the grilled corn for entree (delicious) and your choice of two burritos and a dessert along with a small glass of sangria.
Definitely will be back.

Approximate cost: $25 lunch deal

I took a bunch of family friends here for lunch when they visited Melbourne and seeing it from their perspective really made me see how great it was. I forget how spoiled we are until you see the surprise on the face of "out of towners" for the prices, friendly service and quality of the food and this place did not disappoint.

The food is cheap, fresh and tasty. Between us we tried the corn, all of the tacos, some salads and assorted soft drinks, beers and wines. All up we spent just over $80 to feed 4 people, a great shock to my friends when the bill came..."I can't believe how cheap it is for such good food here!" one of them declared.

As expected, the newest mexican place in town was busy at lunch on Friday but the staff were friendly and efficient in getting us seated as soon as possible, taking our orders and serving us. They were particularly friendly to my "out of towners" which made me very happy as I like when the staff really do create a good, interactive experience. They knew ingredients, availability and spent time making sure everyone was enjoying their meal.

I would recommend Touche Hombre for a relaxed casual dining experience, lunch is probably best. I can't wait until the crowds move away so we can get in without the wait but it was definitely worth it.

I would like to share my dining experience in Touche Hombre:

Me and my girlfriends decided to try this Mexican restaurant, so we went to this restaurant and we had to wait around 20 mins for a table because it was very busy (it was packed).

After 20 mins, finally we got our table.. Once we entered the restaurant.. it was a great ambience (awesome decoration as in wall , table and bar area) Oh, They also have a dj (music in the restaurant) very cool!

So, we sat down.. we were very starving at that time so we ordered right away. We had the totopos (nachos), elotes callejeros (corn), ceviche (tortilla chips with fish, mussels, red onion, chili and guacamole), lamb ribs, the special duck tacos, de tofu and de jaiba (soft shell crab) for our dinner and margarita (supersize) for our drink.

Great service!! - The drink came first (which was great.. we were so thirsty) then, the food came with in 15 mins - good timing! The staff looked after their customers.. Excellent service - Very friendly and professional.

Value for money.. ! Highly recommended!

Had a great night before the comedy festival at this new place. Some of our food took a while coming so the staff gave our table of four a free glass of sparkling wine. Recommend the pork tack, delicious! Only complaint is about the stools we were seated on, not very comfortable.
