This cafe offers magnificent meals, and extremely friendly and attentive waitresses. We shared an entree of beef and vegetable soup - a delicious, hearty meal full of flavour, and a very good sized serve. For mains I had chicken, prawns and mushrooms in a creamy garlic sauce (what a delicious combination that was!), served with local, in season vegetables. It was a very large serve and the quality was excellent. They had a very tempting variety of desserts, but I could not fit a dessert in, after the amazing meal! My husband had pork with honey and ginger, also a very delicious combination of flavours, served with a variety of vegetables. This too was a very good sized serve, filled with flavour. Next time I think I'll have an entree in order to have dessert as well! We'd encourage anyone visiting Stanley to try the meals at the Touchwood Cafe.
