Rubbish. I walked in here with the sole purpose of buying my 5 year old a bike. Two sales assistants in the store who looked to be in the process of servicing bikes. I asked for a specific brand that had been recommended to me but when advised they didn't stock it I asked for their recommendations. The sales assistant told me of the two options, pushing one of them that I was not convinced was the best one, and not really giving me the information I felt I needed to make a decision. My gut feeling was that the sale of a $200 bike was unworthy of his effort. I left without purchasing but lo and behold went elsewhere and ended up buying his bike, a bike for myself, tandem fitting for my 3 year old, helmet and car bracket. Looks like Trak missed out on a valuable sale.

This is fast becoming my go-to for all questions and needs related to cycling. The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and more than willing to help you, even if you're not sure what you need help with.

My first experience was for a bicycle service for my partner's bike - prices were reasonable and service was exceptional, so I went back later on to buy a new bicycle. The staff were good humoured and patient, answering all of my questions and offering a level of service above and beyond many other stores I visited.
I wasn't ambushed with information, nor was I pushed in to buying something that wasn't appropriate to my needs, or well beyond my price range.
While I left many other bike shops feeling bewildered and unsure about my needs, my experiences with Trak Cycles was exactly the opposite - I was confident I was making the right decision, armed with information, and -eventually- excited to get cycling.
