Very bad experience. Quoting stage was perfectly fine, our move was spilt into two lots. there were some minimal damages on the first move, overall it was fine as they were mainly boxes few bits of furniture. the second part of the move was not only very stressful, they under quoted the space l needed then, moving around my goods amongst other clients, boxes went missing. Delivery came to me in three different lots. Made me pay of materials on top of quoted price and took them out of transition to my new location and kept them. They do not do the move themselves rather get sub contractors to do the job, so you dont know whats going on. On top of all that once it came to put in an insurance claim made me wait up to 4mths, had to threaten them to get some action...still waiting. Never use them again, in fact moving in 7 weeks time and they are not even on my list to contact.

As I selected Transcorp based on the very good feedback I saw here, I thought the best way to return the favour is to add my feedback. However, my case sounds to be an isolated case among all positive comments but anyway worthwhile mentioning.

Quite happy with pre-move interaction. On the contrary, the move day was very stressful and unpleasant despite the fact that our furniture remained intact during the move. After a few months, every time I see a similar truck or a move at the road I get stressed for a few seconds.

Well, the problem started from assigning an unsuitable truck (twice the size we needed). As you may know, you don't pay based on the truck size which sounds to be a good thing however it didn't work for us at all. It created a problematic circumstances and under such conditions, the person in charge of the crew demonstrated serious attitude issues.

This was up to the extent that his anger caused him drive carelessly and hit and broke a sizable tree in our shared driveway in the new place.

He apologized at the end of the work and we shook hand and said good-bye peacefully but his hostile behaviour while being angry earlier shows his lack of anger management skill and understanding about customer service.

You can imagine the embarrassment we experienced as a new member of this multi-unit complex with the driver's shouting and leaving a broken tree.

I reported the case a few weeks later to the company and their near-quick response was that a) they apologised b)they said they didn't have a smaller truck at the day, b) the driver has been issued a warning but he has been experiencing some personal issues around that time, c) they accepted to pay for the charges caused for the broken tree and d) they rejected my request to refund portion of the hourly rate.

Well, this leaves me with a mixed feeling. The positive side was that all our furniture remained intact which is an important factor for this service but still I blame them for poor planning sending this truck and then assigning an unfit driver which caused all the stress.

Hope I have been fair here but I don't think I can use them again.

The boys, James, Shayne and Paul performed miracles under adverse weather conditions. They completed the move despite having to dismantle a sideboard to get it up the stairs and re-assembled a bed too. Their work was excellent and they remained cheerful and confident throughout that they would be able to finish. They did so after a very long and tiring day. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My partner and I relocated over the weekend for the 4th time in 3 1/2 years. Each time we've used different removalists as we've never been pleased with the service and/or the results. There were a couple changes that I wanted to make prior to booking so I rang and spoke with Anna Umbris. Not only was she professional, she was extremely helpful and friendly. Providing her expert advice and tips for our moving experience. Something that I never expected to receive; it was so refreshing and personal.

The day before our move we received a follow up call which again was a very nice touch. The morning of our move, the guys (James and Shane) showed up early and eager to get started. They took a walk through the house and advised that it was going to be an easy job. They were polite, friendly and talkative the entire time. Not once complaining about our heavy furniture or the large amount of stairs they had to climb. They were very easy going and took direction well.

In all of our moves in Australia, this has been the most pleasant and least stressful. I can confidently say that Transcorp Australia is the number one reason that the move this time around was so painless.

I'm in the service industry and I know that it's nice to receive praise when praise is due. Your staff deserves recognition for their professionalism, teamwork, friendliness and efficiency. Not only will I use Transcorp Australia again with my next move, I will highly recommend your services.

Many, many thanks to the lads for a tremendous job done in record time given that the storage facility required use of a lift, the travel time to Marysville and driving a huge truck up a gravel road and then unloading – they were like machines.

They did a tremendous job in transporting our gear from our apartment to our new house – they were so careful with everything and nothing was damaged at all.
