1 review about TRUECARE DRYCLEANERS

Last year on my return from Europe I bought a cashmere jumper from Paris and I sent it to True Care to have dry cleaned as per the washing instructions. I took my brand new beautiful jumper to True Care in Niddrie.
When I collected the jumper I did not inspect the garment. When I arrived home I was shocked to discover my cashmere jumper had holes in it as if a moth had eaten it to bits. There were fine holes in lines through out the whole jumper.
My husband advised me that they have a big sign stating that they do not take responsibility for any damage incurred to any garments.
Ok well giving this dry cleaner the benefit of the doubt, as upsetting as it was having paid $250.00 for my beautiful jumper, I decided that it may be bad workmanship of the garment itself.
We continued to use True Care but mainly for pressing shirts and other clothing. Although True Care are quite costly, they are conveniently close to where we reside.
Two months ago I took in a pair of cargo pants bought from G-Star that cost me $150.00 to True Care Niddrie because a drop of olive oil splattered on the zip front of my new cargo's. I decided that the best option was to take it to the True Care dry cleaners.
Believing that a drop of oil was not too difficult to address and clean for any dry cleaners and since I was going overseas my husband could collect the dry cleaning and there should be no issue.
On my return 2 months later I went to take the pants off the hanger which still remained under the plastic from the dry cleaners at True Care to discover that the pants were strangely enough folded back to front.
I unfolded the pants to discover a bleach spot larger than the original oil stain and quite to my shock and horror of the shifty manner that the pants were placed on the hanger made it impossible for my husband to have noticed it immediately upon collection.
I became extremely disappointed with the services tendered by this particular disgraceful, incompetent dry cleaning company in Niddrie.
My husband went to address this issue immediately once I informed him and the owner or manager of the Niddrie True Care tried to claim that the pants were not dry cleaned there until my husband brought to his attention the tag stapled from their branch which confirmed that it was their reckless services that had caused the damage to the pants.
Having said that the manager of True Care Niddrie branch offered $85.00 in compensation to the damage of a pair of cargo pants that can no longer be worn due to the bleach spot at the front of the pants.
Extremely disappointed I believe that people need to be made aware of the quality of service which is disgraceful.
I will never recommend them and I will never return as a customer. The name for this company should be No Care or Untrue Care Dry Cleaning Services opposed to True Care.
