i love this place..not only are the staff are friendly they have a great tasting food and the dessert is delicious. great coffee as well. definitely recommended to all

This really is a hidden gem. The owners are passionate about food and it definitely shows. Excellent place to sit and enjoy a leisurely brunch, or stop by for a quality coffee. The savoury muffins are delicious - highly recommend you give them a try!

This is a nice little place - I have visited on quite a few occasions. It is extremely cheap and the food is tasty. The brekky roll is so yummy. The pancakes are light and fluffy and the serving is huge. The vanilla slice is made to order-it is yummy!! I recommend stopping by if you are in the area - even just for a coffee (which are beautiful) and a homemade muffin.

This is my Saturday morning breakfast spot. I walk in, and my coffee arrives without me ordering. Staff are friendly, always chirpy and efficient. My regular breakfast isn't on their menu, but they accommodate me anyway. Venue has choice of inside or outside, which is great when we have walked down with our dog. Prices are amazing for the area - pancakes with berries and ice-cream or bacon and maple syrup have only just moved above $10 a plate.

Lunch is reasonably priced and tasty as well - open sandwiches, foccacias, lasagnes, all served with a smile. Milk shakes are highly recommended as well.

My only wish was that they were open on Sundays!

When my wife and I moved to Mentone, we found Truly Scrumptious while looking around the centre. I personally love their salads and my wife loves their chicken melt and omelets. We have been caught out arriving too late for before we knew their opening hours. They have a nice selection of wines as well. We miss going there since leaving the area, but hope to return for an encore sometime this summer.

The name says it all - definitely great food, and some of the best coffee in Melbourne. I've been here numerous times for coffee, breakfast and lunch, and the food is always great. Delicious muffins, food is hot to the table and very well presented, service is excellent.

From the moment you enter this cafe, or choose a table out in the sun, in the quiet lane, you are treated to smiles, and great food. I would recommend this cafe to anyone wanting a nice coffee, but especially for a lovely lunch with friends.
