Absolutely lovely food, beautiful atmosphere, not dead quiet but not noisy or loud. Children welcome but need to bring your own entertainment. Found it a little pricey.

I love TULSI and its one of my favourite Indian restaurants. I have taken many of my family and friends there over the years and have never been disappointed.

Terrible value, absolutely terrible. Contemptuously small portions at top prices. Wont be going there again. tasteless, undercooked samosa. Luckily there was rice and bread (it wasn't naan, more like a rock hard pita), otherwise we would have left hungry.. The coffee was sour and disgusting. I can only imagine they hold their customers in such contempt with such poor value. Disgusting. I cant believe the positive reviews. Worst Indian i have ever been too, and i visit a lot of them, all over Melbourne.

I went to this restaurant with a group, I organized the dinner as I had heard good things. It's a really nice space and I love that I can see into the kitchen. Our meals came out very scattered, some people had finished before some people had even got their food. It was a quiet night so it was unexpected that it wasn't more consistent. The meals were nice, the menu offers a wide choice. Meals weren't overly large, but overall a nice meal. The killer was the 'cakeage'. Our table spent nearly $400 of food and wine. One of the girls bought a birthday cake and although I understand that restaurants have a right to charge and we should have pre-checked the price (or they could have offered the price when we arrived and our cake was taken to the kitchen) we were charge $17. After spending so much money on dinner, it would have been nice for them to thank us for the business and either wave the fee or charge a little less!! Anyway, as I said, their choice.

At first when i moved into the area, i wasn't aware that there was an Indian restaurant there. I stumbled across the restaurant as i was catching the train at the nearby station,a few weeks later and i took myself and my family along for a meal and it was very reasonable price for the quality of the food, beautiful atmosphere, warm and welcoming staff, will be dining here again in the future.

This indian place isn't really located in an attractive place, but once you are inside you don't notice because they've set it up in a really nice way. Probably the nicest take away in the area, and the prices aren't too bad either

food is always lovely with beautiful flavours. We like it so much we are having a small wedding reception there this week.
It is close to home and consistently great food.
