Book car in for the first time with UltraTune albany for a minor service, get a call saying they would really like to clean the air conditioning as it may harbor bacteria such as legonella, it was then pitched to me knowing that I work in health that it would be in my best interest for them to take care of the not present yet potential problem for me (at extra cost of course). I politely declined.
I then received a second call from a younger man stating that all my brake pads are worn and need to be replaced asap and that they are surprised my car does not have a yellow sticker. (by the way its a fastidiously maintained 2012 VE Commodore) I said I had not noticed any squeaking or reduced brake tolerance and I suggested I will take care of it myself, much to their dismay.
I took my car to Great Southern Tyre and Brakes who had a look at the pads and laughed as the brake pads were fine.
Needless to say I felt that Ultratune tried to take me for a ride. Will not use again thanks Gary!

Sorry guys.. to have the car fully serviced and then seven days into our trip up north and find the alternator belt not checked.. all cracked and possibility of it breaking it out on the middle of nowhere.. not good!
