Alan from Ultra Tune in Brisbane Street Ipswich is the most honest, competent mechanic that I've ever come across. But: In addition, he is kind, generous in his expert advice, and compassionate with bad news. How rare is that! After spending erroneously and what I would consider with mechanics dealing in bad faith a lot of money on a useless case elsewhere repeatedly, I had an accurate in-depth assessment and honest advice, delivered with a beautiful bed-side manner. I had heard this was the case from others who have had the same experience there - the word of mouth is that in Ipswich, if you need the best of the best, go there. I re-iterate it loudly and clearly. As a woman, this is a call out for women in need of honest good mechanics to trust Alan. He deserves a fantastic run in life. Thank you, Alan!!!

I like to supply my own high quality fluids as I have been caught out before at other places that have over charged for average quality bulk supplies. So I was happy when they worked in with me on that. The only problem was when they didn't know that DOT4 brake fluid (which I supplied) is compatible (and superior) to DOT3. So I changed it over just to avoid an argument only to find they wanted to charge separately to flush the lines as they had already taken the car off the hoist. I am new to the neighbourhood and, as this is my closest mechanic who seemed knowledgeable and friendly, I was looking forward to fostering long term dealings...now I'm not so sure

I find this place as reasonable priced. Corey and staff are very helpful. Always rings you up to let you know if some parts needs changing and not just change them and hit you with expensive bill after. We prefer this place to others, so much so,that my wife, daughter, son, daughter in law and myself all service our cars here.

Was very happy with the last service these guys did on my car. Will be back to service it next time too! It was very affordable and very local for me to wander down the st to the shops while I waited. Staff were great and we'll mannered

Have had my car serviced here twice. Quite happy with their work, I perhaps got talked into getting more done than was truly needed, but it is my own fault for not questioning it.
The work they did was good quality and nothing played up afterwards.

We first discovered this group when we couldn't get some urgent car work down at our usual mechanics. Ultra Tune have been great. Within walking distance, always willing to accommodate us with urgent repairs or small wee jobs like light bulb replacements. Very reasonable rates and scrupulously honest!
