About 2 years ago I was referred to Dr. Boon Kua who diagnosed me with low grade prostate cancer. This doctor has excellent qualifications and displays a high standard of professionalism. I am very happy with the management of my condition and can say that I could not be in any better hands. Also, from the moment I walked into his office, I found his administrative staff to be first class. Overall, it is a top-rate medical facility.

In 2008 I was diagnosed with a Prostate Cancer having a Gleason score of 9. I thought this was a death sentence. However, I was referred to Dr. Boon Kua whose advice and ministrations I have accepted ever since with great success. It is now 2020 and there is currently no sign of my cancer - all due to Dr. Kua. What more could any patient ask of his doctor?

Following successful robotic prostate surgery there was still residual PSA readings from cells trapped in lymph nodes which were identified by a GA68PSMA PET and CT scan. Dr Kua referred me to an oncologist who treated this with hormone treatment and radiotherapy and now my levels are happily back at zero. For any urology concerns I can heartily recommend Dr Kua for his knowledge, expertise and professionalism.

I was getting regular annual blood tests for PSA (prostate) and 2018 my levels rose to flag more tests and this set in a little panic. I came across Dr Boon Kua as he was doing locum work at Redcliffe Hospital and his bedside manner and character was outstanding as he re-assured me that i was panicking prematurely and that early diagnosis is the best thing. I cannot say enough about this Doctor and his practice at the Wesley Hospital where i followed him to due to my gut feeling about his ability to get my sh#t sorted. I did not have private cover and told Dr Kua that i would have to pay for procedure and i found his rate to be very reasonable. I had a TURP procedure that also had me a little uneasy for it is a little invasive to any male (look it up if you don't know). I recommend Dr Boon Kua and UROBRIZ to anyone that is looking for someone to take care of their prostate problems.
As a male we think we are indestructible but guess what we have a time-bomb sitting in our groin and these need regular check ups as in blood tests (PSA levels) to help these doctors success rates.

In May/June 2019, my GP referred me to Dr Boon KUA, my GP statement was he is the best in the business as a Urologist.
I can now concur right from the first visit the professional way my high PSA reading was explained to me and subsequent testing including a Biopsy Dr Kua explained how we should step through the process all side effects were explained to me and after a PET scan that was encouraging in so far as the cancer in my Prostrate had not spread to any other part of my body.
Dr Kua then operated using the robot the very next week as a late patient that did not see me back in my room at the Wessley until 10pm that night.
The next day at lunch time was standing having a shower and walking.
Sunday afternoon I was on my way home.
All aspects of this procedure from Dr Kua surgery staff through to the nursing staff at the Wessley Hospital was outstanding.
This Man Dr Kua really does know his profession he inspires confidence I at no time felt any doubt and really felt that I was in the best of hands.
Nine weeks after the operation my bladder is 98% under control and I really do feel happier and Healthier.
My PSA went from 6.2 to .008 aftyer nine weeks how good is that, I dodged a Bullet that could have been fatal with out Dr Kua.
