After a back operatiion my prostate caused me trouble when tryin to urinate , it was discovered to be overly large and needed attention. Dr Boon Qua was reccommended and an op was organised, the doctor and team did a great job on me and after my review all was up to scratch. There would be no hesitation on my behalf in reccommending Doctor Boon Qua to any prostate sufferer.

In May 2015, I had a Pas test as part of a yearly medical checkup with my GP. The reading came back as exceptionally highand I was referred to Dr Boon Kua at UroBriz. Following an urgent biopsy I was disgnosed with prostrate cancer. DR Boon explained the options and I decided to go for the robot option. He had explained the risk of sexual disfunction, and bladder incontinence. It is now May 2019 , my PSA is now less than .001. Its whats called the trifecta!
I cannot be too grateful to Dr Boon , his surgical support staff , his office staff and his excellent command of the robotic technology. Thank you , Iwould recommend that any male who is concerns with the side effects and outcomes should talk to Boon and confidently expect the best result possible for their prostrate operation.

Dr Boon Qua and his team looked after me from the moment I stepped into reception until the completion of my surgery and follow up appointment. Due to this surgery my life has literally been transformed. All the discomfort, anguish, and stress have been removed. As I say, I stand at a public urinal now with the greatest of confidence. Faced with advanced aggressive prostate cancer and the possibility it was also spreading in my body and bones, I sought treatment with Dr Boon Kua's on referral by a family friend. Dr Boon Kua is a sincere and engaging surgeon who answers questions directly, provides succinct information, and achieves excellent results. In my case, he carefully explained every step of a prostate biopsy and associated scans and tests. When the biopsy results showed cancer, he explained my options, and we jointly agreed on a robotically assisted prostatectomy. Dr Kua inspires confidence, and two subsequent PSA readings have proved that my prostatectomy has been 100% successful. His follow-up advice post-surgery is also excellent, and extremely helpful. He is also a very good conversationalist, and enjoyable to be around. I'm 76, and hope to be around for quite a few more years...thanks to Dr Kua.

Dr Kua is a gentle soul who genuinely cares for his patients and is exacting in his methods. I have received my 100% cancer free result from his care and cannot speak highly enough of him. I will continue to recommend him. NB Please don't become complacent when you GP advises you that your PSA tests are nothing to worry about. I had no symptoms at all but insisted on a referral to a urologist and Dr Kua took the testing further to MRI test followed by a Bi -opsy and confirmed Prostate cancer. I requested a PET scan to confirm that the cancer had not metastastized. Once confirming this result was negative I proceeded with the complete removal of the prostate. I am 77 years of age and am fully recovered after 3 months.You will need to see a specialist physio for the correct pelvic floor excercises to stop incontinence.
