I underwent a TURP operation in Jan 2017. [redacted clinical content] My GP referred me to Dr Kua for treatment on the 16 Dec, I meet him on the 19 Dec and was scheduled for the operation on the 9 Jan 2017.

Dr Boon Kua performed robotic surgery (RALRP) on me two months ago (May 2016). His care, understanding and engagement with my wife and I over this procedure was outstanding. Using MRI to undertake a thorough diagnosis and then outlining the preferred option to treat the prostate cancer discovered, his thoroughness was outstanding. I cannot recommend his treatment and care of me highly enough as indeed his skill with robotic surgery.

Dr Kua performed a RALRP for me in late 2014 following referral from my GP. I really appreciated his supremely professional advice, friendly and approachable manner and skilled work. Dr Kua takes great care to fully explain everything in a non-technical way. I followed all his advice on biopsies, scans, pre- and post-operative etc. and the outcomes have been very pleasing. The whole experience went much more smoothly than I had anticipated and results have been most satisfactory. I am happy to recommend Dr Kua most highly.

I was referred to Dr Kua by Dr Les Thompson following Dr Thompson's diagnosis of prostate cancer. From my perspective Dr Kua is an outstanding health professional. He performed on me a robotically assisted (the da Vinci Surgical Robot) radical prostatectomy. The results were outstanding. Fourteen months later I continue to be cancer free, continent (thanks to the Hospital's outpatient incontinence physiotherapist) and sexually active. Unfortunately I have nothing nice to say about the Hospital's Prostate Cancer Support Nurse.

At 66 I was early diagnosed with an aggressive prostate cancer. Dr Boon Kua and his team have been excellent in their advice and treatment. My prostate was removed. I was in hospital for 2 nights. I am completely recovered, and am sexual active without any medicine or devices. I have not experienced any incontinence.

After having had a Prostatectomy performed by a Qld health surgeon she left me total incontinent , after over 12 months I was still using over 3 large pads a day, I contacted Dr Kua about an Atoms Sling which he performed in May of this year 2015 and after 3 top ups I am now 98 percent Continent. He has given my life back, no more pads and no more embarrassing moments
