I am righting this review because I have been waiting 5 to 6 weeks for installation of a robe I never got a phone call to say what time or what date they where going to be installed. The contractor DILLON was greate he did a amazing job. One of my glass doors where damaged so uzit had to get a nother door from Melbourne it was suppose to be here 2day 2pm. The lady rang me said the contractor will be out 2day at 3 . Not even 10 minutes later rang back sorry you're door wasn't on the truck. I am very disappointed all wasn't checked by uzit before the installation date. I'm not happy and I let the lady know on the phone.

Approximate cost: $1539

The guy that measures and quotes is wonderful, the installers have been great.
The staff on the phone taking money need further training. They are rude and condescending.
One woman scammed my husband into paying an extra $160 that she assured he would get back.
We are still waiting.
We wont be that gullible again.

Approximate cost: $12000

We have had a large kitchen installed. What service and quality. Alex the designer. perfection. Don't go anywhere else, UZIT are the only ones ,to consider. Nothing was to much trouble, After installation everything was checked to make sure it was perfect and of a very high standard.

Wonderful very happy customers

My experience with this company was also not good. This company is all care and concern until you have signed the contract and the deposit is handed over. I was then told I had to pay the bill in full before the installation was even delivered (to make up for clearance delays at the bank was their explanation). I had to nag them constantly to fix problems. I had an adjacent cupboard that was 5mm bigger than the one next to it. Badly aligned drawers. I had completely incorrect handles on a vanity. I had the oven installed so that when you opened the door it was gouging into the cupboard they installed around it. A cupboard in the laundry was installed half way over a drain - they said this was standard practice and I had to push really hard and get third party regulatory help to get this fixed. I had large hose holes drilled in the wrong place then redrilled 2cm over and left as standard. I had missing items that I'm still waiting on as I write this. I had a fridge power point they pulled out and left hanging out which I am still waiting to be fixed (they say this is nothing to do with their installation). I had rubbish left everywhere. Plastic wrappers and boxes and bits of wood and cutouts left on and under the cupboards when they said they were finished. I had to beg to get covers for the power points which I had to put on myself. I HAVE PHOTOGRAPHS OF ALL OF THESE ISSUES. GIVE THIS COMPANY A BIG MISS IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY.

UPDATE
========================================================
Three years later this saga continues with a carousel upright in one of the cupboards they installed falling out of its fixing. Virginia, the Manager made an appointment to fix it after I contacted them a second time when their promised call back deadline went by without any response. Then she cancelled the appointment and has refused to make another stating she will not deal with me on this issue because I have expressed unhappiness at having to get yet another fix on this kitchen 3 years after installation. She states that no other customer in the history of their installation has ever been unhappy with an installation. I find this difficult to believe given the standard I'm dealing with here. Fittings don't fall out of new kitchen unless they are badly installed in the first place. Ask yourself if you're happy to be trying to get things fixed by this company three years down the track from a brand new multi thousand dollar installation?

This saga continues with a carousel upright in one of the cupboards they installed falling out of its fitting. Attempts to have this fixed under warranty have so far been unsuccessful. Now consulting the Office of Consumer and Business Affairs because the company made an appointment to fix it then cancelled the appointment and now refuses to make another appointment to fix or review the issue.

I am appalled by the behaviour of this company.
Being a family owned business means they should go above and beyond to uphold their reputation.

We have had built in robes installed in 3 rooms of our last two homes by Uzit 10 years apart. The quality was excellent and design spacious. We didn't feel special dealing with the sales person and the initial quote was beaten by a competitor. However, when we went back, the deal was bettered. We were happy with the quality the first time, hence the desire to use Uzit again. Happy to recommend them but suggest negotiation on the price as it appears there is room to move. We saved a few hundred dollars.

Approximate cost: $4,000

We had an entire new kitchen installed! That in itself was overwhelming. We actually shopped around a fair bit but liked how all the trimmings and labour is included.

Approximate cost: $5600
