This lovely little shop - but it's bigger inside than it looks, is situated on the Main Street in Rutherglen, just going out of town a bit. It seems like two shops when you go inside. Rustic brick walls and murals, bread making equipment all add to the charm. They had wonderful pies and a whole range of lovely cakes and slices. Their specialty is all sorts of breads - sourdough and savoury loaves and breads, baked traditionally on the sole of the oven.

There is a whole other room with wooden tables and comfortable chairs to eat in. Food was served on earthy stoneware plates. The steak and steak and mushroom pie were delicious as was the sausage roll. The vanilla slice was HUGE and the chocolate brownie cake also wonderful. Coffee and drinks brought to your table.

A very nice place to sit and eat, watching the town through large windows onto the street.
