I just attended a scoopon voucher class here for animal prints on cupcakes. The usual teacher was away sick but they had a good replacement with one of the cake decorators for that store. I was happy with the format and the teaching. I enjoyed it more than I had expected to and very happy with the results. They had it all set out when I arrived and we all got three cupcakes to decorate (that they had precooked and supplied). We even got a methods printout to takeaway and a certificate stating that we had done the course. I will attend a class here again when the opportunity again rises. There was a small sales push but nothing out of the ordinary and the store seemed quite well stocked.

I purchased a scoopon voucher and attended one of the cupcakes classes, and was pretty disappointed that the instructor went on for most of the class talking about her cake products for sale instead of showing us what were were meant to be doing with the cupcakes. I learnt some skills but feel like there could have been more.

I have been a customer of Cake Studio (formerly The Breadmaker's Store) for some two-three (2-3) years and the Owner and Staff are always willing to help and assist where they can.

I cant believe the review made and am simple thinking it is a case of "Sour Grapes" for them taking the safety of her daughter into account... DMy question would be did you pay for your daughter to attend the class and secondly having attended the Scoopon Classes myself.... it stated on the T&Cs of the Scoopon that no children under the age of 12 were permitted due to OH&S reasonings.

We have ordered a cake for our daughters birthday and the design and price seems spot on, good service so far
