Photography is one of the most accessible forms of creative expression, and many of us have used cameras since we’ve been old enough to hold one in our hands. Venture Photography Workshops is here to show you how you can get the most out of your camera, by taking creative control of it and getting you started on your own image-making adventure!

Our photography classes and lessons are very hands-on! You learn by doing, whether you're a beginner in digital photography or a photography enthusiast looking to develop your skills in portrait photography, landscape photography, using flash speedlights or studio photography.

Owner and lead instructor, Seng Mah, is an experienced teacher and educator – having taught at high school and university, designed training courses for TAFE, universities and corporations, and project managed IT and eLearning development before he decided to combine his love of photography and teaching into Venture Photography Workshops. The courses at Venture Photography Workshops are designed so that you learn by doing. That’s why each workshop is very hands-on and activity-based, giving you plenty of opportunity to put what you have learned into practice and to refine your skills.

We limit our small group workshops to a maximum of 10 to 15 participants, to ensure you get enough time with your instructor and have plenty of opportunity to shoot!

Venture Photography Workshop is also a great opportunity to discuss all things photography with other like-minded people.
