GET ALL QUOTE FORMALISED AND SENT VIA EMAIL TO AVOID DISHONESTY.

I have taken my dogs here a few times for vaccines and check ups and never had an issue. The advice from the vet regarding anxiety wasn't the best and she was supposed to discuss it with a colleague and get back to us which she never did.

But today was the frustrating day. We had received a 10% discount email for scale and polish for one of our dogs. We rang to book in and get a price. We were quoted $624 for a scale and police and bloods prior. We were also told the 10% would be applied when we came to pay.

Today we have taken our dogs in. The price including bloods is now $650 and that's now including the 10%.

They were not listening to my concerns around the price. It's not about the actual cost but about the dishonesty with pricing. They should have formalised a quote and I should have asked for a formalised quote so there was no discrepancies but I don't like this from any company.

I went back and took my dog home without the treatment being done. I will go elsewhere with both my dogs now.

There are cheaper, better and more knowledgeable vets in the area.

All the staff here are great...really caring for their furry clients...and friendly to the humans! There are always follow up calls to see how the patient is going a few days after our visits, which I find reassuring.
They helped save our new addition recently who was so very poorly but got her back on her little feet in no time. She's now a happy big bundle of fluff...such a contrast from when she first arrived.
Staff were also very thoughtful/ caring when we sadly lost another furry member of our family some years ago.
All our pets are looked after very well by the guys at Vet West Currambine.

Very friendly and compassionate team providing high quality care and advice for all our pets. They have just moved the ocean reef branch to a new site at currambine and being close to where we live we thought we would try them out. We are very impressed with their service.

This is a great veterinary clinic, have been taking my pets there for years. They are very friendly and gentle with the animals and understanding (our cat is very "shy" i suppose you would call it!!) and send you lots of updates for the next injection / flea medicine etc.

I have taken my pets to various other vets over the years, I began taking them to vetwest and I wont change. The staff there really care about the animals and seem to go out of their way to make you feel better when you have to make those hard decisions. I would trust them with my animals anyday.
