I drive past this place regularly but have only been in once for dinner. I was a little underwhelmed with the food, my entree was very nice with nice fresh seafood dusted in flour and flash fried but I found my pasta to be overcooked. I would definitely go again and it has potential to be a great place just didn't quite hit the mark for the price

Have driven past this Italian restaurant for years but never had a chance to try it out until now. Although we arrived early and were heartily greeted by the welcoming staff, service was very slow and it was almost an hour before our antipasta arrived. The plates of mixed olives, cured meats and salamis, and some deliciously cooked octopus were very tasty but at $30 a head it was a very expensive start to the meal. I literally only had room for a salad of Roma tomatoes and bocconcini balls filled with creamy cheese which was delicious although the tomatoes were only the cherry variety. I would have ordered something else if they had told me the romas were not available. Other diners at my table enjoyed huge bowls of risotto, gnocchi and spaghetti and no-one went hungry. But it was almost 11pm when desserts and coffee came out so I would suggest ordering everything straight up so that you are not left waiting so long. Perhaps a few more kitchen hands might speed things up, but overall the meal good and at least this is one venue in Brisbane that actually gives out doggy bags and allows you to take your meals home if you can't finish them. Wish more restaurants and cafes would do this.
