Wow! This place is exceptional.I was never really that fond of risotto before i went here but this place has changed my mind. It has an amazing atmosphere and service was great. I always look forward to going back.

The best risotto in Melbourne. Home cooked authentic Italian food. Just like nonna makes. The service is old school, so very good. The prices are around the same as others in the area, but this food is sensational.

Next time you are trawling around Puckle Street Moonee Ponds and you like Italian food, and in particular risotto, give Vicolo in Young Street a try. I have been there several times for lunch and loved the risotto. Last time I had mushroom risotto. It was excellent: rich flavour, robust: not too watery. Coffee first rate too. Wonderful staff, helpful, attentive and polite. Suggest booking if lunching late in the week.

The risotto is the best that I ever had!! Also, the seafood in the Marinara linguine is very fresh. The only negative is that it is a bit expensive. So we usually go there at lunch as there is special with a risotto and drink. Definitely will recommend to others.

Great home cooked food and very fresh, the risotto dishes are extensive and for lunch with a glass of wine its only $12! Food and service are second to none, decor is very good.
