Went to the Gold class cinemas , must say the seats were great , the view was great, but they should be for the price your paying . $30.00 early in the week and $39.00 later in the week, food and drink very expensive.

Some of the cinema rooms are really small, and not of very high standard. The upstairs lobby is never open anymore and the downstairs lobby often has a line, food is really expensive which is expected of cinemas I guess. Staff are generally nice though, and gold class is a good experience but really pricey.

My recent movie visit involved a gold class experience as part of a birthday gift. The small cinema and comfortable seats always make that part of watching a movie with gold enjoyable and there is great service. On the downside the menu available in gold is outrageously expensive. It would be so much more enjoyable if they would add some lower priced items to their collection. Once they used to have small icecream tubs available which was perfect now you need to pay around $15 for an icecream sundae instead. It was incredibly good but I do think there should be cheaper options. The other negative is that there are no toilets for the gold class area requiring a longer walk if needing to use these facilities while watching a movie. Overall village is good for gold class however I'd go somewhere else to watch a movie rather than use the other cinemas at Village Geelong

Been here a couple of times and is ok the normal cinema is average, yet gold class is fantastic! The quality overall is better than average but it is radiculously over priced especially gold class. you pay $35 a ticket and $9 for a stubby of corona which took 15 minutes to be bought in to a cinema with only 4 other people in it and they didn't order anything for the entire movie! Smart people considering cost of a drink

Approximate cost: $53 2 tickets and 1 drink each

This used to be the best cinema in Geelong, but that is no longer the case. I will always choose Readings (in Waurn Ponds) over Village if I have a choice. That isn't to say it is bad, just not as goo, in my opinion. The seating is less comfortable, the view to the screen is sometimes difficult due to the angle, and you get less popcorn for your dollar. Having said all this, I must say that Gold Class is altogether much better and is always an enjoyable experience.

Great selection of movies at lots of convenient times. Village Geelong has 9 traditional theaters and 2 Gold Class theaters. Theaters are comfortable and clean with large screens.

The service is great and quick. Prices are excellent, and the environment is amazing. The cinematic experience is worth going to. Less pricey than what Readings Cinemas is also.

Approximate cost: $15

The staff went out of their way to be helpful and we were so happy with the service that we now use it as our prefered cinema.
