We always come back here for cheap steaks with choice of salads! Even our friends we brought here always wanted to come back. Our favorite is the deep fried pork hocks! Super value for money!

Love eating here with my kids. Pubs are really the best places to go when you have 4 kids under 6 lol. And this one has the big playground outside so it makes it easy to sit and eat while they go and play. The kids don't really eat much cos they are too busy playing but theres always a kids meal waiting on the table for them when they get tuckered out. With prices so cheap Why not I say. They have specials everyday of the week and different ones each day....you can even cook your own steaks!

Cook your own rump steak for $7 from Sunday through to Tuesday, then.you can pile your plate with sides, good value for money and a lovely place to go for a family event as its not to dear and fantastic value, outside heating which is great as the inside can get crowded

Cheap steak, they cook it the way you like it, atmosphere is pretty good, service is ok, nothing to write home about. for the price you pay all around excellent place to go for a night out.

Cook your own 7$ 300g steak on ONLY Sunday - Thursday.. Which gives you the range of 4 days to choose from! Once the rump is cooked to your liking, then you're up for self-served sides which come into a range of hot chips, peas and corn, 4 types of sauces, salads, pasta and coleslaws.

I come here with a few friends and each of them are always keen to have another steak the next day. The atmosphere is also relaxing as it gives an indoor and outside modern look. Though, if you bring kids, they have to be supervised as it is still a hotel.

Definitely give it a go for a 7$ steak, whether your in the area or not, in my experience it'll be worth it (:

Great $7 cook-your-own Rump steak deal!!
It runs Sun-Thurs and is the best value steak meal I know of in the area. The rump is 300g and you're allowed to fill your plate up with a pretty decent range of sides like hot chips (really good ones), peas and corn, mixed lettuce salad, seafood salad, coleslaw, pesto pasta salad and of course your choice of gravy, mushroom, pepper or dianne sauce.

If you're hungry you'll always be satisfied here and you decide how much to season your steak and how you want it cooked. The downside of course, is you have to do the work :P

But still excellent value for money!

They also have other cheap deals throughout the week.

Service and atmosphere don't really wow me but still would recommend it!

LOVE the extremely good value at this place! $6-$8 steaks on mon, tues or wednesday with sides (whatever fits on your plate!) the sides are great especially their mac and cheese but sadly they no longer serve it. Still good and excellent value though! You will never go home on an empty stomach after going to this place.
