Really affordable Japanese food with a great ambience. Shared the hotpot with my friend and also had ramen which was $10. I must say, for the cheap prices, the food was authentic and portions were generous.

The front desk of Wagaya is located on level 2 of the Mid City Arcade in Chinatown.
The ordering is done via iPad-like screens at each table, however, the staff are still very attentive, polite and generally discreet. Service speed was reasonable.
The choice of food is quite diverse, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. My only complaints would be that some of the food wasn't quite hot. For instance, I had the spicy chicken karage, and some pieces were hot, whilst one or two pieces tasted slightly cold.
