Could not face the dragon, so went there on a Saturday. 3 lovely ladies attended me. So pleasant (and unexpected) Bought 6 Isa Browns and they are the tamest chooks I have ever had. Settled in so well that I did what you should not do, and let them out for a roam after 3 hours. 0700 18 hours later two are in the laying box singing away.

Over the years I've bought point of lay hens in addition to their own layer mash and chook bedding, and all have always been terrific. The only thing that could be improved is the level of service of late.... The older woman that serves you comes across as a bit burnt out and isn't the friendliest of souls, and you get the impression that she can't be arsed answering some of your questions. But, overall, a terrific place to buy healthy birds and stock feed.

Apart from the smell, great place to get free range eggs. Always fresh, wouldn't buy anywhere else. They have a great shop with & gifts & novelties too.
