1 review about Walbundrie Co-operative Limited

We stopped here for fuel (it was quite a few cents per litre cheaper than other towns in the area, perhaps the benefit of a community-run co-op). The business included a post office, general store, take-away, newsagency and various rural merchandise.
Talking to the lady who served us, she explained how, over 30 years ago, the town risked losing this business, so the locals took over the business and run it as a co-operative for the benefit of the community.
This store was old, but well maintained and handy to come across when we were low on fuel.
