Walkabout Creek

My daughter and son-in-law married at Walkabout Creek in October 2010, with their cocktail reception also held there. This is a lovely venue in a bush setting. David and staff are very obliging about running your function the way you want. Wedding gazebo and room were beautifully set up, food plentiful and very good. Communication before the day excellent. On the day only a few minor hiccups which did not spoil anything.

My husband and I were married here earlier this year and held our wedding in the adjoining function rooms. We had a great day, with everything taken care of by David, the venue manager. The food was fantastic [and plentiful!], and the staff were pleasant and friendly to all our guests. They also provided well for our coeliac and vegetarian guests
Apart from a few administrative hiccups in the lead-up, it was a great place to do business with. Highly recommended.

We had our wedding reception here and were so happy with the food, service and atmosphere of the event. We were able to do as much or little as we liked and had a fab. time. Staff were so helpful and truly helped make our day special. Highly recommend them. (food was delicious)
