A piece of advice for anyone who is trying to tackle a tricky home theater installation on their own. Don’t!!

I made a royal mess of things before my wife decided to call in the professionals. I have to say that Local Bloke did a fantastic job with the install. The guys seemed like they've been doing this for a long time and made it look easy. They also provided me a 5 years parts and service warranty which made it totally worth it.

Mounting your plasma on the wall is pretty inexpensive and it's a hell of a lot neater than having it on a stand or table. Definitely worth it considering the saved space and how the mount allows you to manoeuver the TV around to point it where needed. The mount isn't stiff at all so it's easy to move, but the TV is really steady wherever you place it. Overall a great product and the service from Local Bloke was quick and easy. The only thing is I've since read that there are some pretty good do-it-yourself wall mounts that you can get online and I've heard good things. I'd suggest looking into this before you make a decision to have an expert install it.

New house, new Plasma, new sound system -we were all set for a new start happily but when took the job to mount the speaker ourselves, it was a disaster. Our new living room was a complete mess and our all efforts went in vain. Then we decided to get professional installer to set up the speakers. It was a local bloke technician who ran the speaker wires concealing perfectly from outside visibility and covered all wire exit points, the setup was awesome and our living room started looking even better. We had no plans of mounting our plasma at first, but seeing their professionalism we decided to mount the TV as well. The TV mounting made the setup more luxurious.
