This market has sadly declined badly…it’s an insult they charge people to go in and wander around just a handful of stalls, selling stuff you can buy in any $2 shop. All the regular stall holders have long abandoned it and now trade elsewhere like Camberwell market.

This place gets sooooo busy. Its best to go early to get the best bargains. There are heaps of stalls selling second hand stuff. Also some new stuff such as plants. Some sellers though charge rediculous amounts for there items. This is a outdoor market.

My husband and I come here every so often and find a bargain every now and then.
But have mainly seen a number of store holders asking more than what the item will cost in a shop. But if the weather is good then head down and have a look for a bargain! Be mindful though that not everyone will walk passed you without pushing you, not good for elderly or chronically ill people.

Approximate cost: $5

Me and my dad love coming here for cheaper prices and nice and good quality items! I like the ticketing system that they let people under 15 go in for free and pensioners abit cheaper than the normal adult tickets. Entrance fee is really cheap and worth it. There is a cafe or food place there and the food there is really great and not overpriced!
I recommend people to go visit and experience this great place which have so much great finds and valuable stuff for a reasonable price, and you can negotiate with them with is even better!

This is a place I often go on Sunday mornings, to look for cheap yet valuable things. There are many stalls, some of who are regulars, and some who are one timers. A wide variety of items can be found if you look carefully, from gardening tools, to antiques, clothes, books and movies.

Entry to the market is just at $1.80 per person, cheaper for seniors and free for under 15s. It is a very good value as there are many stalls and things for everyone. There is a cafeteria in the market with food that is fairly cheap. Their cup of chips is still at $2.50, unlike many other stores. The carpark is large, but you should come early to bag the closest spaces, just in case you make multiple trips to the car boot.

All in all, Wantirna Market is a great place to go for a relaxing Sunday morning. Just make sure you pick a nice sunny day, because if it's raining, there will be very few sellers.

Approximate cost: $1.80

This market also is a market that has been going for a long time. You need to seriously look closely for the things you might need because there certainly is a lot of items on sale here.

You should come early on a Sunday otherwise you will be parking right down the end of the car park and will have to walk along way back (especially if you have bought lots and lots of things).

You can also buy lots of food at this market.

Our Scout group will be having a stall here in November sometime to sell some items to get our Scouts to the Jambouree next year.

A great place to find all sorts of things. I have found lots of gifts and my husband regularly finds things to bring home and tinker with. The fruit and veggies are fantastic and are super fresh.

Be prepared for crowds, but it is a Sunday morning well spent

You will definitely find bargains at Wantirna Market. Loads of old and new items - clothing, collectables, toys, plants, DVDs, goldfish, fruit and vegies, magazines, tools, etc. Cheap entry; crowded environment with lots of stalls.

Approximate cost: $entry is $1.80 for adults and free for kids
